Please make ONE phone call!Dear LOHV Supporter,PROBLEM: The canned shoot bill, which has been a major focus of ours recently, is in serious danger. We've just been informed that the Chairman of the Environmental Conservation Committee, Carl Marcellino, is not going to put this issue on the agenda for a vote at their upcoming meeting, which is this Wednesday! Action must be taken now!SOLUTION: Please CALL Joseph Bruno, Senate Majority Leader, at (518) 455-3191, urging him to bring the canned shoot bill (S.6446a) bill to the floor of the Senate immediately for a vote.

This call will only take a minute and will greatly increase the chances that this bill moves.ISSUE: Canned shoots are commercial hunts in which trophy hunters pay large fees to shoot animals in enclosed areas.Thank you!------------Recognizing that animal exploitation is a political issue and not just a moral one, the League of Humane Voters intends to make animal rights a mainstream political issue by building support among citizens, activists, political parties, candidates and elected representatives.To join our email discussion list,
