Arizona State Senate Passes Bill to Criminalize Advocacy! Contact your representatives now!

The Arizona State Senate recently passed legislation that would define YOU as a domestic terrorist! SB 1081 limits legitimate investigative and protest activity by creating the crimes of "animal terrorism" and "ecological terrorism." Companion bill HB 2367 is pending in the House Committee on the Environment.

Under these bills, it could be a felony offense for activists to take photographs or to videotape conditions at factory farms and similar facilities. Other forms of protest, like leafleting and demonstrating, could also be construed to be impeding animal activities and become illegal as well.

Please act now to ensure that HB 2367 does not pass in the House!

WHAT YOU CAN DO: Ask your state representative to strongly OPPOSE H.B. 2367.

Contact your state senator. If s/he voted NO, thank him/her. If s/he voted YES, express your dissatisfaction, and explain that humane citizens are not domestic terrorists.
