The date is tomorrow. Please take a moment NOW to send an email/fax to the DA. This was a horrendous act of cruelty. This man must not walk free after what he did to that poor dog! PLEASE send just a couple of sentences. If you live near enough, please show up at the courthouse tomorrow, to show the court that this poor dog was a living, breathing being, that was important enough for many people to care about and that we will not stand, for such vicious behavior in our society!

***UPDATE***

The case of the 'alleged' dog killer, Bernard Blowers has been given yet another day, until 3/4/2004. Mr. Blowers' public defender was sick so there was no plea entered. It gives me a headache to even think about it but the good thing is that it gives everyone ONE more chance to email the State's Attorney and plead for the maximum allowable punishment in this FELONY case! Please drop them a line ASAP!!!

Bernard Blowers is accused of stomping his Rottweiler to death.

He then allegedly tossed it along a road for animal control to find. If you can show up, PLEASE do! It is at the Will County Courthouse, Joliet IL, 9:30am 3/4/04
