I just want to say that it is important to be there at their passing, I have heard some say that never never do it. I know, it is individual, but I have see a lot of " death " in my life and part of the monks training is visiting the dying. There is much to learn by it and you can experience the passing of the soul to you. Referance: the Tibetan Book of the Dead Kurasawa's film " Red Beard " The belief of the Angolan's that you inherite the soul of the person,,,etc... passing to you. That made the belief that their war was instigated since it is not in their teachings. For Winny's Eternal Repose I dedicate my loving memory .. I was fortunate to had known Winny. There is consolation in knowing that Winny was loved. Some animals never know what love is. I like to think all our loved ones shine on.
