Animal Liberation Victoria has lodged an appeal against the $21

million Pace Farm egg laying facility at West Wyalong.

 

The development recently received New South Wales Government

approval, despite more than 300 objections.

 

The appeal is due for mention in the Land and Environment Court on

October 14.

 

The animal rights group alleges it is cruel to house more than

720,000 layer hens in 12 sheds.
