" EATING WHALES " CAMPAIGN.

 

 

Dear Friend,

 

PETA is sending a pre-printed official REPLY to all of the

people who protested to its shocking " Eat Whales " campaign.

They continue to hang their " Eat Whales " campaign on their

websites despite numerous animal rights and environmental

activists protests.

 

PETA claims that no one is really going to eat the whales " anyway " .

Is it as simple as PETA claimed that it is just a tongue-in-cheek

to make a point ?? There are numerous other objects can make

good points without promoting killing whales . Who knows

what is the bottom line of PETA's Eat Whales campaign ?

 

Even though at the end of their Eat Whales website it encourages

people to write to some of the politicians to oppose whaling,

however, there could already be enough damage done. Now

many people have been wondering is it a smoke screen or a cover ?

 

While we condemn the cruelty to billions of farm animals in the

slaughterhouses and factory farms, many experts think it is not the

Eat or Not Eat Whales issue. It is the campaign itself that might

already give Japanese whaling industry an important " excuse "

to kill whales and attack the Westerners eating the cows and pigs.

Therefore the torturing , harpooning the whales can be justified !

 

 

PETA claim that they are anti-whaling, however, at the IWC meeting

just this past July, there were no PETA protests against whaling found

anywhere, instead it was this strange, shocking " Eat Whales " campaign.

Well, to Eat Whales, someone has to Kill Whales first.

In other words, does it mean PETA also promotes the ruthless killing

of great whales before eating them ?

 

 

PETA calls themselves the world's biggest animal rights group ,

but where are the animal rights for Whales ? Numerous animal

activists feel PETA betrayed animals as well as activists.

 

How could PETA justify its protecting pigs, cows, chickens, rats

even the insects while promoting killing and eating the biggest animals

on earth ? It seems contradictory and confusing .

 

The fact is that more and more westerners are already changing their

diet from animal based diet to more plant based diet due to the many

media and numerous vegetarian activists hard work in recent years .

 

 

PETA's theory said one blue whale is equivalent to 1200 pigs.

Therefore to eat one whale will save 1200 pigs lives. However, it is

like saying to eat one Pig will save 200 Chickens lives.

Does that mean we are supposed to eat Pigs instead of Chickens?

Their twisted logic is hard to convince anyone.

 

Furthermore, they state that :

 

" whale-eating is definitely one of the least cruel of all

distasteful flesh-eating habits. "

 

 

Well, Isn't this exactly the excuse that the whaling industry has

been looking for to convince all of the animal activists that killing

whales is " humane " and therefore justifying their cause of killing

whales ?

 

Even the former whaler decried " blood money " from killing whales.

" The kill was terribly cruel. We don't let cows and pigs be chased round

a slaughterhouse for several hours by a man with a crossbow riding a

powerful motorbike. " " The whales could take as long as EIGHT hours

to die, then eventually they'd be towed to the factory ship. The sight

on deck there was a real Hell's kitchen - blood everywhere, three or

four inches (6-8 centimeters) deep. " said former whaler John Burton.

How about compare the killing of a small insect and a pig ?

In PETA's judgment, to kill a pig would have less pain and less cruel

than killing a small insect !(for example, many people step and crush on

ants or cockroaches directly to death, however, pigs may get " humane "

death if they are lucky.) Does that mean we should eat Pigs

instead of small Insects ?

 

 

While PETA's seemingly working hard on its vegetarian campaign,

however, PETA's flawed comparison in Eat Whales campaign may

end up attacking its own vegetarian campaigns!

 

In fact, in our humble judgment, there is no real effects to the

suffering animals when PETA continues to make their Nudie show

in front of the world other than increases their own publicity.

(although a few people may think nudie show is good. )

 

 

The Japanese have admitted that they have been buying the small

countries to support their whaling vote in IWC and still continue to do

so. (so called " Vote-Buying " ).

However, the Japanese may have been doing far more than its simple

admission. While we praise most of the animals groups strong and firm

stand on anti-whaling, anti-RMS (the initial step towards the large

scale of commercial whaling) and say " NO " to all of the dirty temptation

from the whaling industry,however, there are some worrisome questions.

 

Could Japan also buy some of the prominent animal groups, individuals,

or even prominent whale reporters just like they have been doing to

some Caribbean and other small countries to help them to support and

justify their bloody killing of whales and resumption of world

commercial whaling attempt ???

 

Let's take a look at a very simple example, Captain Paul Watson, founder

of the original GreenPeace had the following comments about former

IWC Secretary Ray Gambell :

 

" Secretary Gambell's statements would be outrageously irresponsible

if they were not so obviously a deliberate calculation, "

``He has clearly been compromised. It will be very interesting to see

where Mr. Gambell ends up after he leaves the IWC in July. No one

should be surprised if he starts collecting handsome consulting fees

from the Japanese and Norwegian Whaling industries. "

For years, Japan has been using its ALL OUT dirty efforts continuing

to buy the countries and prominent people worldwide to push for

resumption of world commercial whaling while doing massive killing

700 whales a year by using IWC's " scientific whaling " loophole.

 

However, many of the whale caring people may still be naive and

un-aware of the serious crisis if commercial whaling is resumed and

legalized , possibly in May, 2002 in Tokyo, Japan , if the Japanese

bribing is not stopped ! Japan is now in the full speed ahead to buy

many more small countries to achieve three quarters of the majority

to vote for resumption of world commercial whaling in the next

IWC meeting.

 

 

We wonder what kind of " Animal Rights " PETA has ?

They claim they are the biggest " Animal Rights " group in the world !?

 

 

If you care about the Whales plight, Please voice your strong

outrage to protest PETA 's sickening " Eat Whales " campaign.

 

As they claimed they are the world biggest group for " Animal Rights " ,

please demand PETA to promote animal rights for Whales too and

demand them to remove all of its Eat Whales campaign from all of their

websites . Because some of its statements stated that killing whales

has the least pain which obviously implied the killing whales and eating

whales are justified ! This point is striking the most to all of the

people who desperately want to protect the last whales in the world!

 

 

If you like , you may let them know that unless they stop their

vicious Eating Whales(Killing Whales) campaign or you will

disassociate with them .
