Dear Caring friend,

 

 

The Head of the Washington Post Ms. Katharine Graham

had just died at the age of 84.

 

Washington Post has been the most courageous and

most forthright media on animals issues we have seen so far.

 

Remember ? The most touching " They Die Piece by Piece "

published on April 9th this year had prompted the Congress to

come up with the Resolution S. CON. RES. 45 and

H. Con. Res 175 in both US Senate and US House respectively

to urge the USDA to enforce the " Humane Slaughter Act " recently.

Then on June 17th, the Washington Post continuously revealed

the plight of millions of pigs in the cruel factory farms :
