Guest guest
THE MOUSE THAT ROARED HOW A MOUSE SAVED CANADA'S ENDANGERED SPECIES http://www.extinctionsucks.org Canada has over 364 endangered plants and animals, but no law to protect them. Animals like the Grizzly Bear, the Killer Whale, the Peregrine Falcon, the Burrowing Owl and the Swift Fox need a law with teeth. They need your help. The federal government has introduced a draft law - the Species at Risk Act - but it is too weak in current form to do anything to help save Canada's endangered wildlife. The key weakness with the draft law is that it fails to protect habitat - the areas that Canada's endangered wildlife need to survive. Habitat loss is the biggest threat to endangered species. To save species, we have to save spaces for them. Under the law however, mandatory habitat protection is confined to protection of a species den or nest on federal lands. So unless Canada's endangered wildlife live in a post office, airport, military base, Indian reserve or national park, not even their den or nest will be protected. You can ensure that Canada's endangered wildlife get the law they deserve - a law with teeth. A law that protects habitat. All for less than a minute of your time. Just by using your mouse. Yes, a mouse CAN save Canada's endangered wildlife. Hit http://www.extinctionsucks.org/fax-now.htm Follow the four steps. Send your fax to the Prime Minister. It's that simple. http://www.extinctionsucks.org Bringing out the Beast in us all. \\\\=^..^=///// "We are such stuff As dreams are made on"
