Codex seeks to ensure that the world's food supply is sound, wholesome,

free from adulteration, and correctly labeled. This goal is pursued by

promoting the adoption and implementation by governments of food

standards, codes of practice, and other guidelines developed by Codex

countries.

RE: Docket #01-004N

Dear FSIS,

We would like to urge you to

1: CLEARLY LABEL ALL OF THE GENETIC ENGINEERING

FOODS ON EVERY SHELF .

2: WE ALSO URGE YOU TO PROHIBIT THE SELLING OF

GENETIC ENGINEERING FOODS .

Just like Monsanto's Genetic Engineering Bovine Growth Hormone

which is NOT allowed to be labeled on any of the milk bottle by FDA.

(See Reference # 6 )

Numerous cancer specialists have identified BGH is highly possible

causing " BREAST CANCER " , even " Prostate Cancer " .

(see Reference # 5) This year 2001, there will be 200,000 new cases

for just " Breast Cancer " alone , according to American Cancer Society

predicts recently . (see Reference # 7 )

As a leading scientist in the world John Hagelin has excellent

analysis on GE food on his web site . He said Genetic engineering is

the largest food experiment in the history of the WORLD . We are

all the guinea pigs. 60-70% of the foods on our grocery shelves

contain genetically engineered (GE) components. (See Reference # 2 ).

One of the numerous of GE food side effects can KILL --

37 people died, 1500 were partially paralyzed, and 5000 more were

temporarily disabled by a syndrome that was finally linked to tryptophan

made by genetically-engineered bacteria. (see Reference # 2 )

For the sake of the HEALTH of the entire human specie, again,

please STOP and PROHIBIT the selling of Genetic Engineering foods.

At least , it must have big and clear label on every item of the Genetic

Engineering foods on every shelf across the world.

We would be grateful to you for your kindness, and help.

Sincerly yours,

(your name,

Address,

City, State,

Country.)
