PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (CNN) --The USS Greeneville was practicing an emergency ascentFriday when it slammed into the bottom of a Japanese fishing"research" ship, a U.S. Navy official said Saturday. Ninepeople remain missing from the Friday collision............Shock in Japanese townFour of the missing were 17-year-old high school fisheries studentson their first long voyage at sea. Two others were teachers, andthe remaining three were crew members.Twelve of the 26 people who were pulled from life boats Fridaywere taken to Hawaiian hospitals, where they were treated forinjuries mostly described as minor.
