These grazing rights, of benefit to a few ranchers, bring in virtually no money to the Forest Service, but they necessitate spending large sums to try to keep the Yellowstone bison from grazing Horse Butte. We have virtually exterminated the once vast bison herds of the United States, and the Horse Butte grazing rights imperil one of the few remaining herds, all to profit a few private ranchers. I urge you to cancel these contracts and protect the grazing needs of the buffalo.
