BABY LAMB FUR ---THE EVIL OF ALL !!!!

THE TRUTH ABOUT KARAKUL LAMB FUR.

A pregnant ewe is usually slaughtered after she has produced

three to five lambs. She is killed without stunning; instead, she is

pinned to the slaughterhouse floor by workers, her throat slashed

and her head twisted off. The carcass is then hoisted for skinning.

The uterus is torn open for retrieval of the fetus- the " broadtail " fur,

whose luminous sheen resembles watered silk. There are gradations

of pelt character, depending on the stage of development.

For example, fur taken from a fetus 15 days before natural birth is

smoother than that of a fetus taken five days before birth............

Fendi and Nieman Marcus are among the U.S. retailers that sell karakul.

Please write to Neiman Marcus to protest strongly :

at the end of the year to pursue new career opportunities.)
