I strongly urge you to protect Hawaii's feral cats by publicly opposing this so-called war on invasive species, and by enforcing state anti-cruelty laws. The humane way to control the feral cat population is through spay/neuter and adoption. If the cats can not be adopted to loving homes they should be returned to their territory and maintained as a managed colony. Alley Cat Allies has a wealth of information regarding the humane treatment of feral cats. Their web site is located at: http://www.alleycat.org Please do not tarnish the reputation of your state by killing animals when humane alternatives are available. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. Sincerely, _______________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
