Please visit this page, click on the graphic to enter, and read what a

" Dancing Bear " is. This is absolutely outrageous!

 

The page is called The Dancing Bears Petition, but it is actually a

webring petition. In other words you must have a website and join the

webring to be part of the " petition " . I am going to contact the

webmaster and try to work with her in developing a petition on-line that

we can sign.

I am writing to request that you work with WSPA, develop a sanctuary for

dancing bears, and enable the immediate confiscation of bear cubs in

trade.

 

Despite the fact that there is a law against the capture and trade of

bears in India, it is rarely enforced. " Dancing Bears " is one of the

most inhumane practices I have ever seen and it outrages me that this is

allowed to continue.

 

Until animal protection laws are enforced and an end is put to " Dancing

Bears " , I will boycott all products and tourism related to India and

encourage others to do so as well.
