Some dogs are having to be killed because there is not any food for them in many villages. So far, over 200,000 pounds of dog food has been donated by various manufacturers. It is about half of what is needed. Once the food is received, it must be transported to remote villages and the mushers must pay the airline shipping costs. They need financial help along the lines of shipping costs and purchasing more food. Would you cross post this to the many animal organizations you belong to in case someone would like to make a donation but does not know where to send it.
