Do you understand me?

Do you think I'm just jealous?

The friendly faces

Have lost some graces

By being over-zealous.

Do they have to pretend?

Don't they know that I know?

They can no longer waltz

By being so false

When they watch their livelihood go.

What would you say

If I said I'm happy?

You are all I've ever needed

But has our psyche

Over-ridden our love

And what matters been superseded?

I fall in love more

When I see you smile

You've provoked reactions of grandeur

I've found my goal

I've found my girl

And I'm so happy that I've found you.

I'm not wordly wise

I just use my eyes

Take in what I want

And not use the font

I don't need them to sympathise

I'll happily be me

Left alone to rummage free

Partake in my life

Cause no one else strife

And in getting by content I will be.
