The Sorry Tale of King Thumb

Long ago

There was a land

Where trees grew

All around.

In an oak

Lived a king

His name was Thumb

And he did sing,

De di do dum

I am King Thumb..

I am King thumb

I rule the forest

See my name written in the morning mist

In the rain I bring you pleasure

In the sun I live forever

De di do dum

My word is lore

Or you can't live

In the woods no more..

I am King thumb

I rule the forest

See my name written in the morning mist

In the rain I bring you pleasure

In the sun I live forever

Then one day

Strangers came

Cut down trees

Set them aflame

They trapped King Thumb

In his oak

Did not listen

When he spoke..

I am King thumb

I rule the forest

See my name written in the morning mist

In the rain I bring you pleasure

In the sun I live forever.
