RFI on NAIA, Patti Strand, Port. Oregon

Dear activists,

 

We have a request for information on a pro-animal use group who has as a

board member, the wife of Bobby Berosini, the entertainer who was involved in

a nunber of court battles with peta.

 

Recently a press release showed peta won a recent judgement and rec'd a check

for over $300,000 as a result.

 

When I contacted this NAIA group, thinking they were animal WELFARE, to

inquire about why they had Joan Berosini on their board of directors, the

Executive Director Patti Strand REFUSED to answer my questions.

 

Now I have learned that Ms Strand is also on the board of the American

Kennel Club, and deals with legislative matters, that tells me something

there too.

 

After the NAIA director refused to provide the information, and I requested

it one more time, Ms Strand said she was sending my emails to the FBI and

her " attorney " !!!!

 

Imagine how stupid they will look to the FBI and their attorney for refusing

to answer a question about their board member policy and financials, that

alone should raise some eyebrows.

 

Keep in mind I am simply requesting public information about their board

member policy, yearly financial statement and policy! Makes me wonder why

such an extreme reaction!

 

I want to know more about this group, if anyone has any information,

financial, tax exempt status etc please forward same to me. I decided to do

some investigation.

 

That the director is involved with the AKC board tells me a whole lot too.

 

The NAIA have refused to provide annual financial reports or board member

policy which as I recall is required from non-profit and tax exempt groups.
