Re NAIA's board of director (Joan Berosini)

For those who wish to learn more about exactly WHO the Berosini's are, and

Treatment of Animals (PETA). Attorneys for the beleaguered and unemployed

entertainer, who once paraded baby orangutans up and down the strip in his

fleet of Rolls Royces, today gave PETA attorney Bruce Judd a $340,230 check

for costs and interest incurred by PETA and its then executive director,

Jeanne Rousch.

The NAIA, " National Animal Interest Alliance " based in Portland Oregon,

Executive Director/author Patti Strang has listed on her board of directors,

one " Joan Berosini " , the WIFE of the aforementioned entertainer Bobby

Berosini.

 

 

I wrote Patti Stand an email, two in fact requesting to know why she has this

person on her board of directors, I further asked why one of them was

attacking a bill I helped start in Missouri which will make sex with animals

a crime.

 

Ms. Strand's reply to two inquiries was a refusal to answer either of these

questions, to state she has " no interest in these issues " and request she be

" removed from your address book " which she was never in in the first place.

 

As this supposed animal welfare group as a non profit charity, is soliciting

public donations to benefit animal welfare and education it is my right, and

the right of the public to request such information from such a charity as to

the makeup of their board of directors and executives, policies and

public activities under the umbrella of " non profit, tax exempt "

 

Naturally I am concerned to learn of this board member sitting in on this

group's board of directors, and if you read the court cases, press releases,

charges etc in the following links, you should also wonder this and demand

some answers as well:

Okay, if that is the official NAIA National Animal Interest Alliance

(portland Oregon) response to the question as to why you have Joan Berosini

on your board of directors, and why your group is not supporting legislation

making bestiality a crime, then I will have to make a series of postings to

animal forums, web message boards, mailing lists etc letting people know who

is on your board and your group's stance on the issue.

Folks, there you have it, the response from Patti Strand, Executive Director

of the NAIA which according to the newsletter I have is to promote animal

welfare. I am glad I checked this out before sending a membership check, I

thought this really WAS an animal welfare group.

Wife of entertainer Bobby Berosini who was in the news for quite a while,

engaged in a battle with PeTA

 

As I recall either the American Kennel Club magazine or DogWORLD magazine had

written something about this group, urging people to join to fight the

anti-dog movement.

I think I will contact both of them now and let them know of the new

developments.

Let them know how you feel about having Berosini on their board of directors,

and for failing to respond to the two issues raised.

I am going to do a little financial searching and checking into their

non-profit status, I think I'll contact the federal tax dept about this too

since this involves refusal to answer a legitimate concern/question regarding

a member of their board of directors.

 

One activist was bullied by a pseudo-threat of a " lawyer " , for asking about a

board member of a non profit group!!!

Wow, I'll bet the federal agency that handles tax exempt organizations will

like to hear of this and I plan to start checking and contacting.

Maybe we can go for getting their non-profit status looked into and possibly

yanked?

 

Animals deserve better than this.
