UPDATE: ODI vessels are again on-scene should the Makah attempt to resume

the hunt today. We'll post a more thorugh update on the shocking events of

yesterday later. In the meantime, a protest is scheduled in Seattle this

morning to demonstrate outrage over the US Coast Guard's attempted murder of

ODI activist Erin Abott.

U.S. Citizens Against Whaling:

We are completely outraged at the attempted murder of antiwhaling activist

Erin Abbott and the assault on World Whale Police on Monday. The Coast Guard

is exercising lethal force to ensure the Makah kill a whale this spring. The

Coast Guard is completely out of control. U.S. Citizens Against Whaling is

staging a protest at the Seattle Federal Building 915 2nd Ave. at 8 a.m.,

Friday, April 21st. The Coast Guard Commander of the 13th district and

Senator Patty Murray dwell there. We want to ROCK THE HOUSE, but we need

people.

 

The Coast Guard will kill someone if they continue on this course. They will

kill a whale defender. They will kill someone we all know. They will kill

afriend. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE the time to be seen is NOW. This form of

brutality cannot continue!!! If you live out of town and need a place to

sleep we will arrange something for you. If you need directions or have

behavior needs to be stopped.
