Guest guest
One click will help to stop whaling now and in the future. http://www.greenpeaceusa.org/savewhales/ Japanese and Norwegian delegates have been traveling the globe, from the Caribbean to Africa, offering financial aid in turn for casting a pro-whaling vote. At the April 2000 meeting of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) Japan and Norway hope to cash-in on their ongoing efforts to buy the repeal of the current ban on the commercial trade of whale products. It’s not too late to make a difference. The vote is at the end of April, so click here to get involved. http://www.greenpeaceusa.org/savewhales/ ____________________ Get Visto.com! Guest guest
Japanese and Norwegian delegates have been traveling the globe, not only offering cash for pro-whaling votes at CITES and IWC, but have been urging coastal dwellers with any history of whaling to demand they be allowed to whale again, following the US' backdoor deal at the IWC which allowed Washington State's Makah to kill a three year old female on May 17 of last year. Yet, " one click to stop whaling " will not affect this hunt because Greenpeace has taken no opposing position on the Makah hunt. Please let them know that the door to whaling is being pushed open by the Makah and other native peoples are lining up to get in. It's time for Greenpeace to rethink their position.
