We areaddressing the state's animal cruelty laws that date back to 1875. Whileother states take animal cruelty seriously, Ohio lawmakers have consistentlyrefused to implement a law that punishes animal abusers. The OhioLegislative Services Commission ranked the law last among all states in thestrength of penalties for offenders.Thank you for signing the petition and for supporting CARES.Marcia S.
