Guest guest
Hello, Just a note to let you know that Greg Myers and I, were on the radio in Missouri yesterday (Monday 1/10) for a half hour speaking out against sexual abuse of animals (zoophilia/bestiality) and for legislation making sex with animals an animal abuse issue. The three hosts were stunned when the Myers wrote in previously and informed them of this issue and that there was NO law in Missouri against this. The host (Thom) checked and was so surprised by this fact and this issue that he invited us to the show. We all felt the show went extremely well and the phone board " lit up " , we put out the HSUS toll-free number for the animal sex-abuse information packet, and my Web site URL for listeners to obtain more information. The hosts were professional, concerned about animals and upfront with us about their intentions for format of the show, questioning, goals etc We are now busy contacting many other forums, newspapers, radio shows and pretty much everyone else. Greg recorded the show on audio tape and will be providing a copy to several animal groups, like the ASPCA etc. I will be making copies for distribution to selected groups and people, and will likely also have a copy or excerpts in real media file format on the web site. If you bookmark the page, there will be a pointer to the audio file within a week: http://members.aol.com/animalsav If you were unable to tune in, may we suggest that you fax, email or snail-mail the host and applaud their excellent handling of this animal abuse issue, and helping to promote legislation against this on the air? This is important because the opposition (the zoophiles who do the abuse) WILL be sending protest faxes, email and letters condeming the station for their " bigotry " against " harmless zoophiles, their rights to have sex with animals " and promoting bestiality as just another misunderstood sexual orientation like being gay. Lets let the station hear from *concerned animal lovers* who feel bestiality is animal abuse, want some changes in the animal abuse laws to include this, and feel it's days of unfettered unchallenged promotion as an " alternate sexual orientation " all over the net, are over! We are getting *very close* to having legislation against this in Missouri state put forth! I feel once we obtain something in one state, we can go to the others with a track record. The station and host information is as follows, please keep your message short, just a simple " thank you for airing the bestiality abuse issue " and a few comments is more than enough to show people cared they devoted a half hour of a popular morning show to help animals! ON-AIR: Morning Show 7 AM to 10 AM MONDAY 1/10/00 HOST: Thom West STATION: KPNT-FM 105.7 HOST CONTACT: (Thom West) thwest Listener Fax Line: 314-259-5598 MAILING ADDRESS: Thom West " The Point " 1215 Cole St. St. Louis, MO 63106
