HI All,

The following article ran in the Montclarion. It's been great (and a bit of a surprise) to see my anti-fur, anti-rabbit meat quotes used in several papers.

On another note, at this point, one of the most urgent situations is now at the San Jose Animal Shelter with 22 rabbits needing rescue. In most urgent need are three baby 1/2 lops , an exquisite 13 pound French lop , and a dwarf mix with deformed leg, likely the result of an old untreated injury. These bunnies are currently scheduled for euthanasia by Tuesday. Pictures can be seen at http://shelters.saveabunny.com/categories.php?cat_id=12

These baby half lops , in particular, are very adoptable, so if another shelter has room to take them in please let me know. Many thanks to the ongoing support and flexibility provided by San Francisco Animal Care and Control, Marin Humane Society, Peninsula Humane Society and Oakland Animal Services! All of these shelters have worked together and with our rescue group during this time of Bay Area overcrowding.

On behalf of the bunnies, thanks!
