Bay Leaf Cafe monthy dinner 2/7/06 (different day for this month only)

***Because of Valentine's Day we will be meeting on the 1st Tuesday, for this month only. Next month's dinner will return to the normal 2nd Tuesday*** For those of you who haven't been to Bay Leaf Cafe, you must come and try their yummy food. And you may just meet your new best friend (I did!) or maybe even your future significant other...you never know Three days after I moved to the Bay Area a little over a year ago, only knowing two people (who are not veg*ns), I decided to give this dinner a shot to try to meet some veg*ns. Well, I'm glad I went, because I met two people that night who have become my closest friends in the area

And I've now taken over the hosting responsibilities. (Thanks are in order for our founding host Sean (southbaysean) and our most recent host Lena.) Bay Leaf Cafe is located in downtown Palo Alto at 520 Ramona Street (cross street is University). Bay Leaf offers delicious vegan soups, sandwiches and ice cream, including vegan ice cream from MaggieMudd.

Free parking is usually relatively easy to find and the Caltrain station is just down the street.

This event happens monthly on the 2nd Tuesday (except for February). BAV also has monthly dinners in San Jose and other parts of the Bay Area.
