Whole Foods Animal Compassion Foundation donation day

After shopping at Whole Foods today, I stopped by and asked the

manager to pass along how much I appreciate what they were doing

(donating 5% of their proceeds today to the organization above), and

also emphasized that i specifically came in and shopped because of it.

 

I will follow it up with an email to the company, and hope others will

also do that to support Whole Foods effort. In general I think they've

shown great leadership in regards to animal issues, and although in an

ideal world no one would sell meat at all, they've made strides in

bettering conditions for farm animals in general.
