Hi folks

If you want to start the weekend with a Friday dinner relaxing over yummy vegan food with new and old friends, then join us for our monthly San Francisco dinner. This dinner is held the last Friday of every month, at one of our favorite Chinese restaurants, Shangri-La in SF.

We'll sit at one of the large round tables in the back, to make sharing food and conversation easier. Some of our favorite vegan dishes include the Pie Pa Tofu Balls, #40 (Vegetal Pork with Tofu), veggie chow mein, and their won ton soup. I've tried won ton soup at many of the veggie Chinese restaurants, and the one at Shangri-La is the best!

If you would like to sit with the group, please use this evite to RSVP for dinner so we can plan accordingly. RSVP deadline is the Thursday before the dinner, by 5 pm Pacific time. Tenative RSVPs and Walk-ins accomodated as space permits.

We especially invite new vegetarians or folks new to Bay Area Vegetarians to join us. You can RSVP directly via the evite

FYI, I was told there were problems with the evite. I also had problems with it earlier this morning but it seems to be working now. If for some reason the evite isn't working, please just email me directly to RSVP - http://www.bayareaveg.org/rsvp.htm?id=1100

This dinner is coming up quick, next week :-) This month sure has gone by quickly... So thought I'd also give a heads-up that next month's dinner will be February 24thhttp://www.evite.com//sfdinner_feb2006

Cheers,

____

"This is my protest against the conduct of the world. To be a vegetarian is to disagree--to disagree with the course of things today. Starvation, world hunger, cruelty, waste, wars--we must make a statement against these things. Vegetarianism is my statement and I think it's a strong one." -- Isaac Bashevis Singer
