That is the long on going practice of dog breaders who clip off body parts. Tails, dew claws & ears. It is almost impossible to find a serious breader who would consider selling an English Springer, Cocker Spaniel, Boxer, German Short Hair that had not had it's tail and possibly dew claws cut off. Boxers, Dobermans & Great Danes their ears trimmed. Cocker Spanies & English Spingers have wonderful tails. Have you ever see one that had a tail?
