hi everyone,

amy from pacifica here but writing via the sunshine state. i'm volunteering for 2 weeks at jungle friends primate sanctuary in gainesville, florida.

the sanctuary is on 12 acres and there are 69 animals here now: spider monkeys, capuchins, squirrel monkeys, and marmosets.

jungle friends is run by kari bagnall, a VEGAN and is staffed by vegan and vegetarian caregivers and volunteers! there is NO MEAT allowed at jungle friends!

everyone is welcome to apply to volunteer here and being with the monkeys is like heaven on earth even when they're screaming and biting!
