Guest guest
I got a couple of requests to post information about the tux for others who may be looking now or in the future. I went to After Hours (http://www.afterhours.com to find a store near you), and ordered from their Career Wear catalog. Basically, I have the uniform for catering and other careers where a tux is standard dress, and hence a cheaper poly tux is preferred over the more costly wool. ( " I brought my own butler with me, " is what my Dad said as we were riding down in the elevator to the wedding.) This was a black tie optional affair I went to. There were a lot of tuxedos, and no-one was the wiser that mine probably cost half the price. I bought everything but underwear from them--shoes, socks, jacket, pants, shirt, vest, bowtie, and the jewelry--for right about $200 and change including tax. Men's Wearhouse did the alterations for a small surcharge. I'd post pictures but I'm still waiting on them from the family. Cheers!
