Guest guest
I finally did find a microfiber tuxedo and it looks really sharp. I got a lot of compliments at the wedding. Now, I would like to find an overcoat for it, because I have a big date on the town planned for New Year's Eve. Does anyone know where I can find a black, non-wool overcoat that still has that notched collar that makes the wool ones look so good. My adventure through the mall and Burlington turned up only one, a cotton number, that was quite expensive, and didn't seem like it would accomodate a suit/tux underneath it. Thanks in advance! Guest guest
Matthew: try LL Bean and Orvis. You can check both on-line. I am not familiar with the men's wear from these compnaies, but I know that they carry alternative fabrics to wool. Orvis offers some items in " westerlon " a synthetic wool, which I have several Women's blazers in. LLB rates their outerwear according to warmth level, and does feature a number of synthetics, which might work for you. Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestions, but none of their non-wool offerings are appropriate for the look I'm going for. Consider this coat, except in black, and not wool: http://tinyurl.com/b9d39 I'm running out of places to look. I'm going to try H & M this weekend. Thanks though!
