All the soy milk brands I've bought at the natural foods store (Other Avenues) have a statement on the package, "Does not contain genetically modified soybeans." Consumers can check the packaging.

Very good point, Bonnie. Those who would have us avoid soy products like the plague are always pointing out that soy is one of the most genetically modified crops in the world and that the pesticides used to grow them are poisoning the environment. But they fail to mention what you just did. Most veg*n products tend to be geared toward the health conscoius, and therefore they are often organic and/or GMO-free. This applies not only to soymilk, but to many of the soy-based meat and dairy replacement products out there. Obviously, it's not the average veg*n who is eating most of this pesticide-laden, genetically modified soy. -Mike BorgBonbonsf wrote: All the

i recently bought a soymilk maker. So i now enjoy fresh homeade, organic non gmo soymilk as well as freshly made organic tofu (using nigari) regularly and offer them to my clients.

the anti soy people are not scaring me.
