The day after Thanksgiving is an annual

national day of action to speak out against the cruel fur industry. Please stop

by this event in Union Square if you can, in between East

Bay Animal Advocates’ Safeway Foster

Farms leafletings! http://www.eastbayanimaladvocates.org/wst_page5.html

Join IDA for

Fur Free Friday in San Franicsco This Week

Fur Free

Friday is almost here, so please join IDA activists on the day after

Thanksgiving to educate people about the cruelty of fur production. This

year, we will have a table in San Francisco's Union Square consisting of

an educational display with donated fur coats and steel-jawed traps

accompanied by information labels, an informative captioned photo board

and a large anti-fur banner. We will also hand out brochures and no-fur

badges and show graphic video footage from fur mills on a portable

television.

Our demonstration will start with a march around

the stores that frame Union Square, stopping at those that sell fur to

leaflet and engage shoppers. We also plan to circle the outside perimeter

of Union Square carrying large anti-fur banners to reach shoppers and

traffic moving around the square. After the march, activists will hold

signs and leaflet around Union Square while people take turns wearing a

body TV showing footage from inside fur mills. IDA would like activists

to wear red to our Fur Free Friday demonstration this year to represent

the blood of the fur industry's innocent animal victims and to help our

group stand out from the large crowd of shoppers in Union Square.

Over 40 million victims of the fur trade raised

in cages or trapped in the wild every year are counting on your help.

Each individual person who raises their voice in the animals' defense

influences others and makes a better future possible, so please take

action this Fur Free Friday.

Please take part in this important annual day of action aimed at putting

the brutal fur trade out of business.
