Guest guest
For anyone who still hasn't decided what they'd like to do for Thanksgiving, if you'd like to share it with like-minded people over a vegan dinner, check out these options graciously organized by Bay Area Vegetarians volunteers 11/24 Vegan Thanksgiving Dinner - Cooked and Raw Foods Welcome - El Sobrante 11/24 Vegan Thanksgiving Celebration - SF - Castro 11/24 Vegan Thanksgiving Feast - Woodacre 11/24 Thanksgiving Dinner (restaurant) - Oakland Please note: due to low response, the Community Gratitude dinner in Milpitas has been canceled. The Thanksgiving restauranrt dinner is at New World Vegetarian Restaurant, which is in the Top Ten ranked in the Ultimate Guide. http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=144 Please RSVP as a yes or tenative if you're interested in attending so the organizers can plan accordingly. While typically last-minute RSVPs are okay for most events, typically people like to coordinate the food for Thanksgiving-themed dinners and if there is not a sufficient response to support all the events, then it does make sense to merge them. There are also two other Thanksgiving day events - there's also a Lesbian potluck in the East Bay , and Marin VEG event on Sunday after Thanksgiving . See the list archives for details. Restaurants that are open on Thanksgiving Day include New World Vegetarian in Oakland (there is a group organized dinner) Manzanita in Oakland Saturn Cafe in Santa Cruz probably more - use the Ultimate Guide to call and check http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug Please thank these wonderful volunteers for organizing these events for the community.
