Guest guest
Hi folks This month we're dining at one of our favorite Chinese restaurants, Bok Choy Garden on Friday 11/25. We'll meet at 6pm, order off the menu at 6:30 pm and share food vegan family-style. What's fun about this place is that they have 6 boards of "specials", which I think outnumber the items on ther regular menu. We've tried Bok Choy Garden several times over the past couple of years, and have found some favorite dishes. Two of our favorite dishes are the (faux) General's Beef. It's a thin strip of seitan which is battered and then fried, and presented in a dark, spicy sauce. Another favorite is the "tofu cheese rolls". There's no cheese. It's actually a roll made using bean curd sheets filled with a seasoned tofu mixture. Here's more info on the restaurant http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=98 Details about the dinner: Where: Bok Choy Garden, SFWhen: 11/25/05 Friday, 6:00 pmHosts : Tammy and ChrisRSVP directly to evite (also contains address) - http://www.evite.com//sfdinner_nov2005 If you're planning to join us, please RSVP so we can plan accordingly to sit together.
