Ease into the Thanksgiving week with a great meal atNew World Vegetarian on Sunday the 20th. Four dayslater you can dine there again as George will behosting a dinner on Thanksgiving Day. agroup is encouraged and appreciated, but notmandatory. Prices range from appetizers at $2.95 to$4.95, and entrees from $5.95 to $10.95. Tab forshared meals has run between $13-$18 each, includingtax and tip, depending on whether we order drinks anddesserts that night. New World's high ceilings, airyinterior, well-spaced and richly polished dark woodtables and shiny parquet floor make for a verypleasant environment. They have an extensive menu,with Vietnamese,Thai, Mexican, Brazilian, andIndian-inspired dishes, with choices to meet everytaste. The Latin and South American dishes areexcellent! The food gets high recommendations for itspresentation, texture, flavors, and aroma. Meals areprepared with homemade sauces that use seasalt, arefree from MSG, and are low in oil.
