Guest guest
Someone recently touched upon (in the discussion about 'vegan') using humor to diffuse situations. A good example of this, in my opinion, is the recent ebay auction in which Ingrid Newkirk, President/Founder of PETA, offered her services for a day to the highest bidder as a fundraiser for PETA. As part of the ebay format, potential bidders can ask questions of the seller (in this case, PETA). And, as you can imagine, there were a lot of questions asked, and I think they were answered well with a bit of humor and sometimes sarcasm. Here's the link to the auction. The questions are at the bottom. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem & item=5630325919 There's a link at the bottom to View all 101 questions, or try this http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ShowAllQuestions & requested=petaprez4rent & iid=5630325919 & frm=284 & redirect=0 & ShowASQAlways=1 & SSPageName=PageAskSellerQuestion_VI Cheers, Tammy Best of Veg 2005 survey - http://bayareaveg.org/vote San Mateo dinner - 11/11 - http://www.evite.com//sanmateo_nov2005 Discussion Forum - http://www.bayareaveg.org/forum Event Calendar - http://www.BayAreaVeg.org/events Generation V - Voice of the Vegan Generation - podcast and blog
