Guest guest
Greetings:Today, Foster Farms employees went on strike again at the Livingston processing plant-- the world's largest chicken slaughterhouse. Foster Farms is California's largest producer chickens & turkeys. Many consumers will be headed to stores (such as Safeway) to make their Thanksgiving purchases. This is an excellent opportunity for animal protection and labor rights outreach.East Bay Animal Advocates has been hand-billing outside of Safeway, one of Foster Farms' major retailers. Response from shoppers has been extremely positive. If you are interested in leafleting at a local Safeway, attached is the Foster Facts flyer. EBAA is happy to send you printed copies of the flyer for hand-billing as well.To find your nearest Safeway, visit http://shop.safeway.com/superstore/default.asp?page=slocator*Foster Farms Strike In the News*Story Link: http://www.fresnobee.com/updates/metro/story/11433704p-12176800c.htmlLetters to the Editor: http://www.fresnobee.com/opinion/lets_ed/send/For more information, visit www.FosterFacts.net.Sincerely,Christine Morrissey---East Bay Animal AdvocatesP.O.
