Guest guest
World GO VEGAN Days gives everyone an opportunity to find out just how nutritious and delicious vegan food is. Visit IDA's World GO VEGAN Days website for delectable recipes (http://www.idausa.org/vegandays/comp_cook.html) provided by Compassionate Cooks, or take a meat-eating friend to a participating restaurant during World GO VEGAN Days for a discounted meat-free meal. Click www.idausa.org/vegandays/restaurant_specials.html for more details. Also check out your local supermarket or health food store for an assortment of tasty and cruelty-free "mock" meats. - If there aren't any participating restaurants in your area, ask your local vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants to offer the World GO VEGAN Days Special. If they sign on, contact kenneth. We'll send participating restaurants a free World GO VEGAN Days poster, plus they'll get free publicity on IDA's World GO VEGAN Days website and on the syndicated radio program "Go Vegan With Bob Linden." http://www.goveganradio.com/ - IDA has posters and postcards to promote World GO VEGAN Days. If you would like to hang posters in your local health food store's window or drop a stack of postcards off at your favorite restaurant or coffee shop, please contact kenneth. - Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper to educate people about World GO VEGAN Days and why a vegan diet is the compassionate choice for human health, the environment, and animals. You can find the contact information and writer's guidelines on the Opinion/Editorial page of your local newspaper or by calling the Editorial Department. Click here for a sample letter. http://www.idausa.org/vegandays/outreach.html - Read the new Vegan FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) and Vegan Quotes on IDA's World GO VEGAN Days website. http://www.idausa.org/worldgovegandays.html - Click here for more ways to take action. http://www.idausa.org/worldgovegandays.html World GO VEGAN Days is a time for vegans to help their family, friends and co-workers learn more about how a plant-based diet can improve their health, alleviate animal suffering and preserve the environment. We hope you will take an active part in the celebration! Ron Landskroner
