Guest guest
Hi all, Tri-Valley Animal Rescue is desperately in need of fosters right now for cats and kittens. Here is the info I just received: > All- > For some reason the ECAS Nightdrop, every weekend, is religiously full with > cats and kittens. Last weekend we had to pull 35 cats and kittens from the 24 > hour list -- the next morning every single cage was filled with moms and > babies. > > We believe, as does the shelter staff, that some other shelters are > nightdropping at our shelter. As much as we'd like to save them all, this is > seriously affecting our cat program. We now, for the second weekend in a row, > have multiple cats and kittens on 24 hour and we have ZERO space. . > > As is stands today, there is not ONE SINGLE cage open in the back of the > shelter -- literally every single cage is full. That means, if one of the > city's brings in any cats/kittens , or there are more animals in nightdrop, > they will have no where to put them and something will go down. > > With that said, if you can help foster the below animals, they are now on 24 > hour and 72 hour. > > Laundry Room > 57036-57035 - 2 kittens, semi feral, very workable, healthy -- tabbies > > Medical Room > 55567 - " Nona " - gray/white female, declaw > 56484-56485 - Renn and Stempy, two 4 months olds, very friendly. She can give you more info on what fostering entails. You can tell her that I referred you. > > Desiree (925) 989-1023 or dstreeter78 Or if you live in another geographic area, I am sure all the rescue groups need help. This is the busiest time of the year for cat rescuers. Kris Compassion, in which all ethics must take root, can only attain its full breadth and depth if it embraces all living creatures and does not limit itself to humankind " . ~ Albert Einstein " Killing With Kindness " -An Act of Compassion One campaign. One goal: A U.S. FEDERAL law for the HUMANE euthanasia of surplus, homeless companion animals. One result: Putting an end to the cruel killing!
