Guest guest
East Bay FNB ( http://ebfnb.org ) is currently looking for a Wednesday kitchen in Berkeley or North Oakland to cook free vegetarian meals for all from 10:30-2:30ish. Our current student house wants us to stay but we would like to find a place that isn't entangled with the USCA bureaucracy and its demands... A kitchen that is large, can hold about 5 people cooking and chopping food, would be ideal. Also an industrial size sink would be great for washing our big pots and pans. A gas burning stove that can fit pots which are almost 2 feet high is what we are looking for. The Wednesday group routinely leaves its current kitchen cleaner than when we come. We have plenty of leftovers (organic, from the farmers markets) for you and your housemates as well as lots of community to offer. Since we are also into maintaining good relations with our various houses and churches, its very important for us to be respectful of our donated cooking spaces and all the people who inhabit them. If you would like to meet us for the possibility of offering your kitchen, please send an email. We will get back with you shortly. -Mario Regular Wednesday FNB Volunteer
