Guest guest
Just a quick reminder about the dinner tonite at Herbivores on Divisadero For this month's last Friday dinner, we will gather at Herbivore on Divisadero in San Francisco. Herbivore is an all-vegan restaurant serving a variety of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, and comfort food as well as ethnic style entrees. Our favorite appetizers include the zaatar or the spring rolls (love the spicy peanut sauce), and their sandwiches are reasonably priced - $7.50 for a sandwich, salad, with fries on the side. They have a daily soup special which is different every day; I always ask for a sample because their soups are usually very good. Our favorite entrees include the falafel (which are baked, not fried), eggplant/sundried tomato sandwich or the marinated tofu/avocado sandwich, gnocci in pesto, and (for me) I also enjoy ordering their mashed potatoes and gravy on the side. And for anyone still hungry after dinner, they also have desserts - fruit pies, Black China german chocolate or carrot cake, cookies, and ice cream. Here's more info on the restaurant. Per user reviews in the Ultimate Guide, it's one of the top restaurants in San Francisco. http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=83 Event Details: What: SF Dinner Where: Herbivore (Divisidero)When: 9/30/05 Friday, 6:00 pmHost: Tammy and Chris [ http://www.bayareaveg.org/rsvp.htm?id=675 ]RSVP: http://www.evite.com//sfdinner_sept2005 If you're planning to join us, please RSVP so we can plan accordingly to sit together.
