Guest guest
" I drove from Sunnyvale, battling the rush-hour traffic for 1.5 hours on my trusty steed Sonja... " Wow, thanks for your commitment to the Letter Writing Parties, Ajay! Just so you (and everyone else) knows, there are also ongoing LWPs in Palo Alto at BayLeaf Cafe. While BayLeaf Cafe doesn't have pizza or pasta, they've got quesadillas, sushi, soups, and other food stuff ... plus vegan MaggieMudd ice cream. I think they are the only vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Palo Alto. In fact, Melissa is hosting the Palo Alto LWP this Saturday. There are also LWPs in San Francisco and Santa Cruz, although the latter is on a bit of sabbatical. The monthly BAVEG event schedule can be found here, but always check the event calendar for the most current details as sometimes dates are moved to accomodate the organizer's schedule or holidays. http://www.bayareaveg.org/monthlyevents.htm Going forward, it's a new season in the Advocacy Rewards Program! Points are being tallied and will be posted, and ARP winners will be announced on Sunday. And, if they are present, they can pick up their prizes then.
