Hi,

 

If you'd like to meet people who have pet chickens (chicken

companions, if you prefer), you are welcome to join the Santa Cruz Pet

Chicken group for its monthly meeting. It's this Tuesday at 7 pm at

Gayle's in Capitola. The group has over 50 people in it, and they all

are very enthusiastic about their chickens! The web site message board

has lots of good information on keeping chickens:

Also, some of you wondered about keeping chickens in the house. There

is a for that:

My chickens are outside. Their care is similar to that of a rabbit.

 

I still have lots of rescued battery cage hens available, so let me

know if you're interested.
