Dear Animal Advocates, Guardians, Vigilers, Lovers & Liberators,

I just want to say that I am sorry if I mislead any of you in my last e-mail about upcoming events regarding UCSF. So, to clarify things, please see list of upcoming events below:

FIRST OF ALL: Demonstrate at UCSF to focus attention on the USDA's 75 citations against the university for violations of the Animal Welfare Act. As the USDA's official complaint against UCSF stated: "The gravity of the violations is great"; I say, "the suffering the animals endured was greater."

Monday, September 26th – Friday September 30th

Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. daily

Where: UCSF Parnassus Campus, 513 Parnassus Avenue, San Francisco

Please contact Karen Steele at (415) 388 9641 ext. 217 or karen to RSVP on a day and time you will be able to attend. I strongly suggest that you call Karen in the morning (say between 9 & 10 AM) on the particular day you intend to go - just to confirm that the demo is happening on that day. Posters and leaflets will be provided. For more information on the UCSF animal welfare violations visit http://www.vivisectioninfo.org/ucsf/index.html.

SECOND:

USDA hearing on October 4 - 14 regarding UCSF's alleged violations of the Animal Welfare Act; this will be happening at:

Federal Building Courtroom 2-1350 (2nd Floor)450 Golden Gate AvenueSan Francisco, California

THIRD:

Remember October 15 - 23, which marks National Primate Liberation Week (NPLW), as it is called by Stop Animal Exploitation Now (SAEN). As of now, there are no set plans for demonstrating at UCSF during NPLW, though I hope to begin organizing something soon. So if anyone is interested in helping to organize something for this week, please let me know ASAP.

And that's about it for now. Hope you can make it to one of the above events - for the animals' sake.

Take care! Later....

Bob
