Local Bands Join Forces to Raise Friends and Funds for China’s Moon Bears

 

Inspired by the plight of Asiatic Black Bears (also known as Moon Bears), three local bands, The Guilty Party, Barbara Steele, and Skyscraper will be playing at The Eagle Tavern in San Francisco (398 12th Street @ Harrison – www.sfeagle.com <http://www.sfeagle.com/> ; 415/626-0880) on Thursday, October 6th beginning at 9 pm to benefit Animals Asia Foundation (www.animalsasia.org), a non-profit dedicated to ending the torture of Moon Bears which are farmed for bile across China. The concert is open to the public, and a suggested donation of $5.00 per person will be requested at the door. A flyer for the event is available at http://www.theguiltyparty.us/eagle_bear.jpg.
