KFC protest & letter writing -- this Saturday, September 17!

Hi all,

 

I hope you'll join me at two back-to-back Bay Area Vegetarians' events this Saturday, September 17. First, protest KFC. Let passers-by (and potential customers) know about KFC's cruelty to chickens with posters and leaflets. Second, speak up for animals by writing letters to politicians, business, and the media. The letter-writing party this month will be at Maggie Mudd's, so we'll get to reward ourselves with delicious vegan ice cream. You're welcome to attend one or both of these events.

 

What: KFC protest

When: 12 noon to 1 pm

Where: KFC, 4285 Mission St (at Silver Ave)

Posters, leaflets, etc. will be provided -- all you need to do is show up!

What: Maggie Mudd's Letter writing party

When: 1:30-3:30 pm

Where: Maggie Mudd's, 903 Cortland Avenue (by Folsom St)

Alerts and supplies will be provided, but whatever you can bring (e.g., pens, paper, envelopes, etc.) is appreciated. Also, it's helpful if you know who your State assemblymember and senator is. But no experience or preparation is necessary -- just show up!
