Guest guest
Jan Bright, South Berkeley Stray Cat Club Coordinator seeks donations of cat food or gift certificates to petfood stores or grocery stores to help feed 40 cats in the East Bay and to help support low income and elderly feeders (including a 98 year old lady)of strays that are fixed at Fix Our Feral clinics. Contact Jan Bright 510 649 7338. POB 10206 Berkeley, CA 94709, kittycatmatch. (She is not on the BAV list). Jan has captured and fixed over 400 East Bay cats and tamed and adopted out most. Many great ones still need homes (see below*). Jan is an independent rescue person serving 12 cat colonies now on a disability budget. In addition to year round food, some cats need medical attention for which funds are sometimes needed. Use of a van or truck is much needed, too. If you can provide a back yard or home and yard for bonded pairs or threes, you would be a lifesaver. Or just sponsor a cat's feeding and flea treatments (they're all fixed) with a gift certificate or money of any amount. Jan would be happy to talk with you about these cats and newly rescued kittens. Many thanks! *Among the sweet but shy cats from the neighborhood who still need permanent homes are handsome bobtail manx cats Paul Newman and Patsy Cline, her pixie cute lynx point siamese cousin who looks like a snow tiger named Snow Mommy along with her blue eyed silver grey tabby brother Pema, plus a very social and active little black smokey cat named Scooter Cakes, and a black prancer-dancer girl cat named Boo Boo Kitty ... to name just a few.
