Guest guest Posted September 9, 2005 Report Share Posted September 9, 2005 Hello! I recently rescued a 2 yr old traumatized guinea pig from a classroom. He needs a forever home with another guinea pig and a guardian who will shower him with love, patience and attention and who will let him run around freely much of the time! I won't go into the details of his sad life stuck in a cage; he just deserves total nirvana from here on out. I am fostering him in a tiny apartment with 3 cats whom I have to keep very separate and work full time so I'm up early and late to supervise his running around the dining room as many hours as possible. (He is a hoot!) He is not yet neutered, but I took him to a vet because his nail got torn off trying to get away from a kid and he is physically in good shape. He is on antibiotics now and his nail is almost fully healed. I will pay for his neutering. He is a very tender soul who just discovered lettuce, blueberries,grapes and pumpkin seeds. He does not like to be picked up or even touched at this point, but I am doing my best to spoil him radically!!!
