Does anyone have any gater boots and gloves I can borrow for one week?

Dear Animalistas,

 

Does anyone have a pair of gator boots and a pair of strong gloves (bite protection) I can borrow? (I’m 5’2”, 105 lbs. and I live in San Rafael in Marin County)

 

I’m flying in to Baton Rouge, LA to volunteer at the temporary animal rescue site at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center.

 

I am leaving Friday at 6:30AM from SFO and return Saturday, September 17.

 

I will be camping out with the animals both human and non-human at the site.

 

The more staff/volunteers they have at the site to care for the animals already rescued the more they can release folks to do door to door searches for animals still alive. They are finding animals alive in homes as we speak. They are in dire need of bodies to help.

 

I have to rent a car or van and buy food and water for myself for the week.

 

Northwest Airlines is offering a discount for this last minute reservation.

 

Is anyone inclined to join me?
